Our RATES

Our mission at Ainsworth Child Development Center is to nurture, guide, and challenge our children and to engage the families in the communities we serve in a sustainable, high quality environment. We currently only offer full time care but are evaluating options and will be adapting to changes. The center is currently open 7:00am-5:30pm Monday through Friday but subject to change. Below you will find our weekly rates for each age range.
We currently only offer part time rates for our Preschool room but this is subject to availability!

Meet our Staff

  • Lexi Bussinger, Director

    Lexi brings new energy, experience entrepreneurial attitude to our team. Growing up in Norfolk, she brings a depth of experience with childcare. Not only did she grow up in a home with an operational day care but also has experience as the assistant director at Small Beginnings Childcare in Long Pine for 4+ years.
    “I am passionate about the importance of quality care for our children! I’m so excited for the opportunity to work with such amazing women and continue to provide our community with such an essential service.”

  • Whittney Killion, Assistant Director

    Whittney, a Sandhills native, holds an Associates Degree in Science from Northeast in Norfolk, NE. After exploring various career paths, she found fulfillment in working at an in-home daycare but has been dedicated to her role at Brown County Hospital for the past few years.

    Currently residing in Long Pine with her son Bransyn and dog, Toby, Whittney actively engages in many community activities! Whittney is the glue to our team and brings a way to solve any task in front of her. She is organized and efficient and has been with us from the beginning of the ACDC.

  • Jessica Petty, Lead Preschool Educator

    Jessica Petty is a dedicated professional with a passion for nurturing young minds. A graduate of Ainsworth Community Schools, she returned to her hometown in 2019. With three years of experience as a Co-teacher at a preschool, Jessica brings valuable expertise in early childhood education. Outside of work, she cherishes moments with her loving husband and four children, often enjoying leisure activities such as reading, walking, and family time.

    Excited to embark on a new journey, Jessica eagerly anticipates contributing to the ACDC team and fostering connections within the community.

  • Wryllie Killion, Lead Toddler Educator

    Wryllie Killion, a lifelong resident of Ainsworth, proudly assumes the position of Head Teacher in the toddler room. A 2022 graduate of Ainsworth High School, Wryllie embarked on a full-time role as the primary caregiver at Small Beginnings Child Care in Long Pine immediately after graduation, where she has thrived ever since. She has been with ACDC since our first day open and absolutely thrives working with children.

    Possessing a deep-seated passion for working with children, Wryllie considers herself blessed for the opportunities that have come her way.

    Outside of her professional commitments, Wryllie finds joy in spending quality time with family and friends and actively participating in community events, along with Co-Ed softball and also loves concerts!
